What is wrong with the world today
Who can really say
Are we still living off our past glories
Or hiding in the shadow of the future

What is right with the world today
Is progress running away
Or have we got the tiger by its/the tail
Will it guard the door or devour/have us for dessert

What is it with the world today
Where have we gone astray
We must try to get it back
And then stay on the right track

What is happening with the world today
Is it worth our while to stay
We should find somewhere else to play
Or we should grow up fast
And try to vindicate the past
With the vision of a better day
With the wisdom of the words to say
We've ruined this garden of Eve
Now we'll have to build another one
Or find another way

We want the world
And we want it now
Our plan are/have unfurled
We'll make it somehow
Today our homes
Tomorrow the world
